About Puurna

A small practice, built around the consultation itself

Puurna began with a simple observation: most of what makes homeopathic care work is time — time to hear the whole story, time to think it through, and time to review it properly afterwards. Everything about how the clinic runs is arranged to protect that time.

Our philosophy

Homeopathic practice at Puurna is individualising by nature. The same complaint in two people can point in different directions once you understand how it began, what makes it better or worse and what else is happening in that person's life. Case-taking is therefore broad, and it is done in one unhurried sitting rather than across a series of rushed visits.

Appointment only, prepaid

Consultations are booked in advance and paid for at the time of booking. This is not a formality: it is what allows the clinic to hold a genuine block of time for each patient, keep the schedule predictable, and avoid the crowded waiting room that makes an unhurried conversation impossible. Slots run Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 14:00.

Continuity of care

A single consultation is a beginning. Progress is reviewed at planned intervals, usually about four weeks apart, and the plan is adjusted in light of what actually changed. Follow-ups are scheduled before you leave and reminded automatically, so continuity does not depend on remembering.

Working alongside other care

Homeopathic consultation at Puurna is offered alongside, not instead of, the medical care you already receive. Please continue anything prescribed by your other treating doctors unless they advise otherwise, and seek immediate medical attention for urgent or emergency symptoms.

Clinic values

What we hold ourselves to

Listen first

The consultation belongs to your account of things. Questions come after, and they are wide-ranging by design.

Personalise

Prescribing follows the whole picture — history, temperament, sleep, digestion, stress and context — not the label alone.

Explain plainly

You should be able to describe your own plan to someone else. If it is not clear, it is not finished.

Stay with it

Care is reviewed and adjusted. A follow-up date is set before you leave and reminded ahead of time.

Be honest

Homeopathy is offered as personalised care, not as a guarantee. Where other medical care is needed, you will be told so.

Respect privacy

Your records are held securely and clinical notes are seen only by those who need them for your care.
